Places left on MSc course – bursaries available!
We still have places available on our MSc Environment and Human Health programme starting this September, and students who study full time may be eligible for an ESF bursary of up to £3,000.
The interdisciplinary programme considers ecological public health, the relationship of health to environment, as well as the social determinants of health and healthcare systems.
By looking at current theories and concepts and through the analysis of a range of information, the programme is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to help improve the health of communities, or work towards a position as an academic researcher.
Current students have completed projects on a variety of topics, including understanding and improving mental health in Indonesia, obesity levels in London boroughs and the ongoing public health issues caused by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Students from the UK or EU who live in Cornwall for the duration of the programme and study full time are eligible for a European Social Fund bursary of £3,000 – subject to completion of the full course.
Teaching is delivered over two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) at the Knowledge Spa in Truro. A part-time route is also available, with teaching delivered one day a week over two years.
