Belinda is the project manager for Global CFaH working to understand the potential for improving household diet, nutrition, and food security, and reducing the burden of nutrition related diseases by promoting increased community-based food production based on agroecological principles, in small island countries.
Belinda joined the University of Exeter in September 2012 as part of the Innovation, Impact and Business team based on the Penryn Campus in Cornwall. She supported the business engagement activities of the Knowledge Exchange Managers and worked to ensure all projects were compliant with European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF) protocols.
She also undertook a 15 month secondment as the ESIF Research Finance Manager, leading the team responsible for the University of Exeter’s ESIF portfolio.
Outside of work Belinda enjoys baking, bodyboarding and being outdoors – especially walking on a beach or in the countryside with her family and dog, where she finds peace and happiness.
