Dr Ian Alcock’s main research interest is in the relationships between public health and socio-demographic, psycho-social and environmental factors.
He works with colleagues across several projects to model the relationships between wellbeing and the availability of green space, personal circumstances, and socio-economic profiles.
Dr Alcock also investigates links between attitudes to health and the environment, and aspects of personality and personal values.
His methodological interests include modelling repeated measures, modelling non-random samples, and scale development.
