Tim Taylor is an environmental and public health economist, with interests in climate change, economic valuation and ecological public health. Tim studied for a BSc in Economics at the University of Bath, before working as a researcher in the Environmental Economics group at Bath and doing a PhD part-time. Tim also worked as a part-time consultant with Metroeconomica, working with a range of organisations on environmental issues.
Tim has worked on a range of environment and health issues – ranging from indoor environments to climate change. He has been significantly involved in European research looking at climate change and health, blue spaces and health, and interventions to improve public health. He is currently Director of the UKRI funded Centre for Net Positive Health and Climate Solutions. He has published widely in journals such as Climatic Change, Ecological Economics and the American Journal of Agricultural Economics.
